Massage Heaven

Last night I discovered something amazing that I must share with you. Thai Sabai. I had my first ever Thai Massage, and I'm completely hooked.

Traditional Thai Massage combines gentle yoga like stretching with massage of the muscles, tendons, pressure points, and meridians. It is literally, AH-MAZING.

Not your typical "spa" massage experience. Thai Massage is done on a mat instead of a table to allow the practitioner to get the body leverage necessary for the stretches and postures used in Thai Massage. Thai Massage technique may also employ the elbows, knees, and feet in addition to the hands. Don't be surprised if you look up to find your masseuse walking all over your back, thighs and legs.

Thai Sabai is not for the bashful, there are no private rooms for the massage sessions. You are brought into one large room that is divided into massage areas or "rooms" that are separated by linen curtains. It is imperative to be as quiet as possible and to only speak at a whisper to allow for a tranquil and relaxing experience. As I was led to my individual area, and my linen curtains were drawn, I entered an area with a padded mat on the floor, and traditional Thai garments to be worn during the massage were laid out in front of me. I changed out of my clothes and put on my new "outfit". Long shorts and a halter top that tied around my neck and my back. So far so good. I must admit it was interesting to wear, but when in Rome...

The prices are reasonable, $45 for an hour of bliss. Run don't walk lovies. You'll be glad you did.

Trend I'm loving... Leggings!

My favorite go to item in my closet has got to be leggings. Hands down. Comfortable and super versatile, leggings can be dressed down with flats or boots or dressed up with your favorite pumps. Remember girls, the higher the heel the better!

Every fabulous girl needs a pair of classic black leggings... It's a MUST HAVE. I'm really diggin' the denim leggings too. Super sexy and a cute twist on a classic favorite.

Evening of Beauty

With my mom, Vicki, and Lourdes

Vicki and I

Vicki and I

Tonight I attended an Evening of Beauty hosted by top OC surgeon Dr. Sid Mirrafati with Special guest Vicki Gunvalson from Bravo TV's "The Real Housewives of Orange County"!!! It was a fun girls night out in Orange County with a great friend and fellow business diva Lourdes of dRV Public Relations (who specializes in the luxury market) and my super fabulous mom.

This was a most fabulous event that was a fun treat where there were Botox Specials, Grab Bags filled with goodies, Wine and Cheese, Caviar, and Delish appetizers and Vicki was on hand to sign her new book 'More than a Housewife' - which I of course already own - and take pictures with her fans.

We checked out real live patients getting live botox treatments right there on the spot, got some wonderful information on Stem Cell research and the latest trends to break into the Beauty Industry, and of course got to meet the one and only Vicki Gunvalson. Meeting Vicki was such a special treat for me, I'm a huge fan of her show and she actually inspired me to get into the Insurance Industry. I was so excited to meet her! She was fabulous and gracious enough to give us a few minutes of her time. She offered me some great advice and tips in my new business venture and even offered me to work with Coto Insurance! Which was such an honor coming from someone I think is a true inspiration and would be a most fabulous mentor. Can I get a WOOHOO! Her staff was also extremely nice, helpful, and friendly. Not sure who was more excited though, me or my mom... She too loves Vicki! We can't wait for Thursday nights to roll around to catch the latest episode of the show.

After a few hours at the event we drove down to Newport Beach and had dinner at Javier's Cantina and Grill. Love, Love, LOVE Javier's... The food is not only AMAZING, but the ambiance is exquisite, sophisticated, and upscale... AND they have some of the best Margarita's in town... It is a MUST! If you've never been, I highly recommend it. We had a great dinner, a couple of drinks, some much needed girl time, and fantastic conversation. It was a fabulous evening of fun.

YAHOO! I passed!

Hello luuuuuuuvers! For all of you asking what is happening in the life of Fabulously Lizy... I wanted to update you on my progress this week... Yesterday I took the State exam for my fire & casualty license. It was not an easy exam and I took my time answering all of the questions. However, I am happy to report that I PASSED on my very first try! Thank you very much!!! If you recall I was sweating it last week and was doing overtime on my studying in preparation for this exam. I am proud to report I now have ALL of my insurance licenses!!! YAHOO!!! Life, Health, Fire, and Casualty Insurance - all of it, every single one! I am now licensed to sell! Check out my personal website with more information coming soon here.

Celebrating?! Of course! Cheers! But, I'm still not through with the licensing phase of my internship. Next on my plate is getting my securities licenses, The Series 6 and The Series 63 to be exact. These are exciting licenses to hold as they will allow me to sell annuities and mutual funds. I'm currently reviewing the material for both of these licenses and I will keep you posted once I get scheduled for my exams.

Thank you once again for all of your continued support through this phenomenal journey. It means the world to me. I am truly blessed and I am grateful for every moment of every day! Anything is possible in life. Make your goals a reality by first writing them down. Make them visible to you. Make them tangible. Something that you can see on a daily basis. A constant reminder of what you really want. With commitment, dedication, hard work, desire, perseverance, and passion your dreams can and will come true! Always have an attitude of gratitude. Believe in yourself, even when no one else does. You are the one who controls your destiny... The world is yours!

Loving my life...

Hello Lovies! So many things are going on in my life right now... I am so blessed and I give thanks every day for each and every opportunity presented to me. Here's a little look into what's new and exciting in my world...

My new Business cards came in! YAHOO! I have anxiously been awaiting their arrival, and now, they are finally here! I am ready to network my little life away and let everyone know that I am a future owner and agent of my very own State Farm office! As everyone knows who's in sales or the owner of their own business, it is IMPERATIVE, to always let people know what you do. It's all about who you know. Or as I also like to say, who knows you. It's a must to constantly let people know who you are, and what services you provide. Sales is a numbers game... The more exposure you've got, the better your odds are of succeeding.

There is only one way to go and that is up! All the way to the top! This year is going to be BIG. HUGE. And I am oh so ready to tackle the challenges and reap the rewards of what is sure to be alot of hard work, commitment, and dedication.

In preparation for my new Career Venture I have been studying like crazy. I am in the licensing phase of my Internship and I have already completed my Life Insurance and Health Insurance licenses. YAY me! Next on the agenda is the Fire and Auto Insurance licenses, which is what I am currently studying for. My State Exam is next week. Yikes! Keep your fingers crossed for me dolls and send me lots and lots of good vibes, please! Your prayers and good wishes are always greatly appreciated.

Earlier this week, I took a much needed break from all my studying and had a a girls day at the spa with my two favorite ladies, my mom and sister. After a nice lunch we were off to relax and rejuvenate at Skin Care By Laurie, a new place we checked out locally. Well new for my sister and I, my mom had been there before and really liked it so she planned this for us girlies. My skin has never felt this good. I thought it was AH-MAZING. Literally after my treatments I said, "Mom, why have you been hiding this place from us!" It really was that good. HEAVEN! If you want to check it out, sign up for their newsletter and get a $10 off coupon to be applied for any treatment of your choice! We loved it so much we've already booked our appointments for our next time back!

What else is new on the horizon in the world of Fabulously Lizy? After much thought and deliberation... I am once again tweeting! What can I say, I'm a big believer in the world of social networking, and honestly, I missed it. So once again I'm back in the twitter world and I am really loving it. If you have yet to try Twitter, you must! What are you waiting for?! It's really alot of fun and a fantastic way to stay current on gossip, news, and what's happening now! A most fabulous tool!

That's about it for me right now lovies! Time to get back to my studying... Wishing you all a sexy and fabulous weekend!

Boyfriend Blazers

Trend I'm loving and currently rockin'... The Boyfriend Blazer.

Full of versatility, the boyfriend blazer can be dressed up or down, making it a major must have for the fabulous girl. Wear it over a fitted tank with skinny jeans or leggings with sexy stilettos or on top of a party dress with a pair of pretty heels. For extra glam load up on accessories, think bangles, cocktail ring, and big sexy hoop earrings add a hot clutch and you are ready for a night out on the town. For a more casual vibe or a daytime outfit, pair with a t-shirt, leggings or skinny jeans, roll up the sleeves and add your favorite pair of flats.

Loving the stud trim on the front pockets...
